Nearly 600 attendees visited CCC's
booth at the 8th Factory Automation and Process Automation
Conference and Exhibition earlier in July in Beijing,
China. Don and his associates say visitors were very
interested in the long-range offerings of our CTRLink?
line. "Ethernet was a hit at the show,"
says Don. "Redundancy was a big selling point."
This is the third consecutive year that CCC participated
in this trade show, and CCC hopes that CTRLink continues
its appeal at next year's show.
Don, Eric, Edwin, and Tony were kept busy at the
booth as visitors questioned the benefits of our
Ethernet technology.
Don says most of the attendees were integrators.
They were interested in case histories on how to
deploy the Ethernet technology.
This is a good representation of a poster that
CCC designed for the trade show. It shows a nice
sample of ARCNET and CAN/DeviceNet products. One
attendee indicated he saw the benefit of using ARCNET
in the controller level because he liked the reliability
and frame size of ARCNET.
CC also exhibited various ARCNET and CAN/DeviceNet
products. Some of their attendees were OEMs from
train companies who were interested in extending
the size of their ARCNET systems.
When Don was not busy at the booth, he was able
to see the show himself. He visited many customers
which could bring potential business to CCC.
